ICC-ES Issues New Report Supplements to the Requirements of the City of Los Angeles Building and Residential Codes
DEWALT to Receive LABC and LARC Seismic Compliance from ICC-ES

ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES), the experts in building product evaluation and certification has issued its first two evaluation report supplements to DEWALT, showing compliance of products to the City of Los Angeles Building Code (LABC) and City of Los Angeles Residential Code (LARC).

In a progressive move to further enhance its service to the public, the City of Los Angeles Department of Building Safety (LADBS) confirmed they now recognize ICC Evaluation Service Reports (ESRs) as proof of compliance to the requirements of the California and City of Los Angeles building and residential codes.

“ICC-ES is pleased to publish two report supplements for DEWALT, showing compliance to the LABC and LARC,” said ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, P.E. “LADBS has been accepting ICC-ES reports in all other categories for many years, and it is because of our technical expertise and reputation as the leading evaluation body in the industry that ICC-ES has been selected to publish supplements to the LA City Codes for interested clients.
