ICC-ES Utilizes Artificial Intelligence to Maximize Productivity and Amplify Speed of Service

Automated product evaluation streamlines the certification process; decreasing the turnaround time for new building product listings

Brea, CA. – Artificial intelligence (AI) has been gaining in popularity over the years, and recently there has been focus on AI application in the building and construction industry to make jobs more efficient and structures safer.

Comprised of a highly-knowledgeable staff of licensed engineers, ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) has made great strides over the years in providing timely and quality evaluation reports and listings. Automated product evaluation streamlines many components of the certification process; decreasing the turnaround time for new building product listing reports even further.

ICC-ES has utilized AI software for a number of standards to date, and will be expanded in 2021 and beyond. AI has also been utilized for application processing for evaluation service reports, for building and plumbing products.
